Yolande Lougheed has spent her career helping businesses grow through communications and technology. She comes to Deal Gateway having been involved in the start-up of highly successful Blink Media.
Jordan serves as an advisor to IDG on capital requirements. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree with a Minor in Commerce from University of British Columbia. Jordan is a CFA® charter holder and serves as a director of the CFA Society Vancouver. He has worked in the public venture capital industry in various roles with TSX venture listed companies with specializing in corporate finance and strategy. Jordan is the CEO of Skyharbour Resources Ltd, a TSX venture listed company with multiple institutional and strategic investors including Denison Mines as one of its major shareholders. Jordan has an extensive network of institutional and retail investors, bringing valuable relationships to the company.
John is Chairman of Jindalee Partners, Strike Energy Ltd and Sapien Cyber Ltd. He is a Board Member of the Future Fund Board of Guardians (Australia’s Sovereign Wealth Fund) and a Director of Crown Resorts Ltd. John is also the Chairman of Council of Christ Church Grammar School and Giving West. He has previously served as the Chairman, Deputy Chairman or Non-Executive Director of a number ASX listed companies, Australian Federal Government boards, education institutions and not-for-profit enterprises. John is an officer in the General Division of the Order of Australia and is a past recipient of a Western Australia Citizen of the Year award in the industry and commerce category. John has been a member of YPO for nearly 30 years and served on the Global Board. He was Chairman of YPO Innovation Week in Australia and helped support the launch of EO in Western Australia. John holds a Bachelor of Commerce and an honorary Doctor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
Mr. Edgar is currently the Chairman of SilverBull Resources Inc., a mineral exploration company listed on the TSX and the OTCMKTS. Mr. Edgar has broad experience working in junior and mid-size natural resource companies. He previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Dome Ventures Corporation from February 2005 until it was acquired by SilverBull in April 2010. Further, Mr. Edgar served on Dome’s Board of Directors from 1998 to 2010. Mr. Edgar currently serves as a director of BlackPearl Resources Inc., Denison Mines Corp., Lucara Diamond Corp., and ShaMaran Petroleum Corp. Mr. Edgar practiced corporate/securities law in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for sixteen years. He is a graduate of the University of British Columbia law school, and has practiced corporate and securities law for over 16 years
Yoshito Hori is the Managing Partner of Globis Capital Partners and President of GLOBIS University, which he founded in 1992 and built it into one of Japan’s leading business schools. Mr. Hori founded Young Entrepreneurs’ Organization (YEO) Japan Chapter and was the first Board Member in charge of YEO Asia Pacific region. Currently, Mr. Hori is a trustee of the Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives), and serves as co-chair of WEF’s Global Growth Companies. In 2008, he launched the G1 Summit – a Japanese version of the WEF’s annual Davos forum. This led to the foundation of G1 Summit Institute in 2013, which Mr. Hori serves as Representative Director. Mr. Hori received his BS in Engineering from Kyoto University and his MBA from Harvard Business School. He has authored several books including Six Dimensions of Life; Personal Mission Statement; The Case-Method Approach to Strategic Entrepreneurship; and Venture Management Revolution.
Myles Sherman is a life-long serial entrepreneur and investor, having started his first company at age 23. Myles typically invests in five opportunities annually and currently has investments in the US, London, Canada and France. He is currently; Interim CEO and Chairman of the Board of Revolution Insurance Technologies and Chairman of the Board of Rezilient Direct, insurance technology companies. He is also Chairman of the Board of Design Basics, an online house plan business, Board Member and Founder of San Luis Spirits, a USA liquor business, Founder and Board Member of FLoShield, a medical device company, Board Member of Workify, an H/R tech venture, Founder and Board Member of Keystone Bank – along with various other small business and Real Estate entities. Myles has also been a member of the Entrepreneurs Organization for the past 27 years and served on EO’s Global Board from 2003-2006, and served as EO’s Global President in 2005.
Kenny joined Mojio as Chief Executive Officer and Director in November 2015. He is responsible for leading the company on its mission to give every vehicle a voice. Kenny has previously led three disruptive, venture backed companies as CEO: Ubidyne, a provider of active antenna systems for the global wireless market and winner of the GSMA Innovator of the Year Award; NemeriX (sold to Qualcomm in 2009), which set the world record for low power GPS chipsets for smartphones; and iGo, a company Kenny also founded, that has sold more than $1B in mobile power products to date. Kenny holds an MBA from Stanford, where he now guest lectures for the engineering entrepreneurship program.
